NOTICE

In light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Organising Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the in-person Hippo Signalling in Development, Disease and New Therapies Conference, originally scheduled for 17 – 20 November 2020, to next year 16 – 19 November 2021 in Singapore.

In positive news, we are pleased to announce that we will still host a Hippo 2020 Virtual Conference on 18 & 19 November 2020 to share the latest developments in the Hippo field. We have assembled prominent Hippo researchers from around the world to discuss the latest insights into how this pathway controls development and disease, and how we can target it therapeutically in order to benefit patients with different diseases, most notably cancers. Please join in the virtual conference to learn the latest developments and interact with our speakers. For more information on the virtual conference, please visit this webpage: Hippo 2020 Virtual Conference

We look forward to your participation at both the virtual conference this year on 18 & 19 November 2020 and the in-person conference next year 16 – 19 November 2021.

Synopsis of Conference

The discovery and characterisation of signalling pathways has been essential for understanding organism development, as well as human diseases. The Hippo pathway is the last major signalling pathway to be discovered and is a key regulator of multiple biological processes including organ size, cell fate and stem cells. Furthermore, the Hippo pathway is deregulated in almost all human cancers and has been implicated in other human diseases. As such, the Hippo pathway is now a major focus of drug discovery programs for diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the Hippo Signalling in Development, Disease and New Therapies Conference, which will be held from 16 – 19 November 2021 in Biopolis, Singapore.

This four-day scientific conference has assembled prominent Hippo researchers from around the world to discuss the latest insights into how this pathway controls development and disease, and how we can target it therapeutically in order to benefit patients with different diseases, most notably cancers. The Conference will provide a platform for valuable exchanges and a forum to foster new collaborations.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Conference.

Session Topics

The Conference will focus on the role of the Hippo pathway in the following major topics:
  • Organ growth
  • Cell fate
  • Cancer
  • Mechanobiology
  • Signal transduction
  • Regeneration and Stem cells
  • Drug development
