Synopsis of Conference
The discovery and characterisation of signalling pathways has been essential for understanding organism development, as well as human diseases. The Hippo pathway is the last major signalling pathway to be discovered and is a key regulator of multiple biological processes including organ size, cell fate and stem cells. Furthermore, the Hippo pathway is deregulated in almost all human cancers and has been implicated in other human diseases. As such, the Hippo pathway is now a major focus of drug discovery programs for diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.
We are pleased to invite you to attend the Hippo Signalling in Development, Disease and New Therapies Conference, which will be held from 1 - 3 November 2023 in Biopolis, Singapore.
This three-day scientific conference has assembled prominent Hippo researchers from around the world to discuss the latest insights into how this pathway controls development and disease, and how we can target it therapeutically in order to benefit patients with different diseases, most notably cancers. The Conference will provide a platform for valuable exchanges and a forum to foster new collaborations.
We look forward to welcoming you at the Conference.
